Drawing was my entryway into visual art. When I was in elementary school, I frequently drew my favorite characters from whatever anime or American cartoon series I was watching at the time. I drew a lot, whether it in my academic planner, a sketchbook, or on random pieces of paper.

These days I’m reconnecting with my love of drawing and recently started taking art classes to improve my technical art skills. I enjoy drawing figures, portraits, and still life and I started using other art media such as soft pastels and charcoal in my work.
